No swimming pool as advertised on the website: very disapointing as we were looking forward to use it!
very clean, well kept, close to down town area which is the area tourists are interested in.
The hotel is in Santa Fe....a magical place! The price was right for those of us who like to see new things and don't have mucho dinero. People in the office were extremely helpful and the sun was shining the entire time we were there. We will come again and recommend to friends.
No complaints from us!
Location was reasonable, fairly close walk to downtown Santa Fe. Safe was included in the cost.
Missed having a coffee/tea pot in the room, even if you had to bring your own coffee/tea. Cleaning staff talked to loud outside room early in the mornings. Pool was closed, this should of been mentioned in the confirmation of the booking as I picked this hotel for the pool and brought my bathing suit down for nothing..this was disappointing. Just because the locals view it as too cold, does not mean that travels would find it perfect for an afternoon swim to cool down.
We checked out and got a refund within 10 minutes of checking in. First, there was nowhere to park. We were told we would have to park in the car repair lot next door and wake up at 7am to move the car. Second, while climbing the outside stairs to our second floor room, the top stair shifted and crumbled and fell to the ground below, leaving a gap in the stairs and a pile of concrete on the ground.
It was near the centre of town, but quiet, even though it was located on one of the busier streets in santa fe. The rooms were simple, but big.
It is in walking distance of the Plaza without being ridiculously priced.
The booking system cannot handle requests for multiple rooms. So don't book more than one room on the Booked.net website as you will arrive to be disappointed.
The best part of staying here was when we left.
The best part of staying here was when we left. This was the worst place I have ever stayed at. For one we had to park at another place of business because the parking lot was very small. If you didn't have a small vehicle you had a hard time parking. The owner was very rude. When I booked our. Room I requested a king size and I got a queen buy I think it was a full size. The room was dirty. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Pay a little more and go some where else.
It was within walking distance to the Plaza and the room was very clean.
There wasn't a grassy area for my dogs to do their business. They wouldn't go in the parking lot.
Proximity to downtown, railyard and parks!
Parking was terrible. Tight lot and not a lot of spaces on full nights.
Parking Small room, no coffee pots, no tissues, window view, homeless hanging around,
Close to the downtown area and easy to get in and out.
The listing on Booked.net indicated that there was a swimming pool. Although there was a pool, it was not operational. If that is a selection criteria, then I recommend that you call the hotel/motel prior to selecting to ensure that all amenities identified are in fact available.
Location . We wanted to be close to the plaza
N/A We are planning on staying there again next year for Santa Fe Opera season.
We were very pleased with our stay at the Motel 6 Santa Fe Plaza. It was our first experience with Motel 6 and will be happy to stay at another on our next vacation. The price was right, the room was comfortable and clean and the location was perfect. Thank you for making our vacation great.
